Currently the Executive Chef at Las Vegas Convention Center. Prior he was the Executive Chef at the New Orleans Convention Center where he received best chef of New Orleans (2015-2016) by the American Culinary Federation, and the gold medal (2016) by the Louisiana Hotel & Restaurant Association.
Chef Stephan Blaser has more than 30 years of experience in the food and beverage industry. In 1980, Chef Blaser was an apprentice at the Samuel Haug Bakery in Frutigen, Switzerland and then continued his study under Master Chef Walter Hostettler in Davos, Switzerland. Chef Blaser worked as a Pastry Chef in noted hotels and bakeries throughout Switzerland and then in 1990 he relocated to Washington DC to open Les Trois Visages de la Suisse. He has been a chef for fine dining restaurants, upscale caterers, hotels, country clubs and resorts. Chef Blaser has specialized experience in classic French, regional Swiss, American, Pan-Asian, Kosher, Creole and Cajun cuisine. Chef Blaser is well versed in menu development, kitchen design and concept development.
