INVENTOR, AUTOPOT SYSTEMS
Jim Fah is an agriculture scientist, author, entrepreneur, and inventor.
He is the inventor of the Autopot Systems ‐ an innovative plant‐driven hydroponic system. Have sold more than 1 million pieces of the Autopot Units.
He created the Autopot Integrated Farm Solution, where large Aquaponics setups have been implemented. The solution he developed goes beyond current Aquaponics implementations with actual live commercial applications growing more than just leafy greens and having additional components such as poultry and fruit trees in the mix to create an integrated “waste to treasure” approach throughout the whole farm ecosystem.
Each Autopot Integrated Farm have up to 100,000 thousand planting points (under greenhouses and open planting), 1,000 cubic culture volume for fish and 10 acres of fruit trees, free range poultry production and special housing for 100 employees.
His recent projects involved the design and execution of more than 10 Autopot Integrated
He has a Master Degree in Aquaculture from Deakin University Australia and is an entrepreneur.
Prior to that, he was the South East Asia division head of a large multinational plantation company in Malaysia ‐ providing oil palm and rubber consultancies.
He published a book called “Hydroponics Made Easy” first published 2005 ‐ has one chapter on
Aquaponics for hobbyists.
Currently he is providing consultancy services and advice for Autopot and Integrated Farm projects.
