Peter Webb has developed Living Merchandisers for Hussmann, who has provided food retailers with safe, reliable and innovative merchandising solutions for over a century. Hussmann currently provides over half of North America’s refrigerated merchandisers to food retailers. Hussmann is a subsidiary of Panasonic and has a network of manufacturing facilities and service branches to serve the global market.
Peter has previously worked for the Open Agriculture Foundation and is currently in a Business Development role at Hussmann. His focus is to identify and develop new growth opportunities in excess of $50M in revenue with potential to span complete customer base. In this position he has been able to fully understand the existing market and position Hussmann as a thought leader with retailers interested in showcasing innovative farming solutions within their stores to communicate the value that they offer over traditional produce.
For the last year, Peter has been working on developing a product line of Living Merchandisers intended to reduce shrink for live herbs. He is also developing equipment for farm partners and retailers to grow their products on-site in addition to merchandising the final product.
