Austin Webb, Fifth Season
Indoor Ag-Con Board Member Austin Webb is the CEO and co-founder of Fifth Season. He co-founded the business while obtaining his MBA at Carnegie Mellon University. And, this was after a successful career in investment banking, including roles with FBR Capital Markets in Washington, D.C. and New York.
Fifth Season recently opened the first fully-automated robotic vertical farm in Braddock, Pa. Soon after, Austin received the Pittsburgh Dealmaker of the Year Award from Smart Business Network. What’s more, the company is among Fast Company’s list of World Changing Ideas. The farm itself also received recognition from the real estate industry with an NAIOP Pittsburgh award in the Built-to-Suit — Industrial category.
A native of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Indoor Ag-Con Board Member Austin Webb holds a BA in Finance from Wofford College. He currently resides in Pittsburgh.
