Workshop One: Internal Review Program For Food Safety Managers and Quality Assurance Personnel

An accredited class that grants a mandatory certificate of completion for all GFSI food safety programs.  A dynamic, engaging class providing instruction in the purpose, intent, program development and auditing of the internal activities of a food plant.  Requirement for all organizations that are certified for a GFSI food safety standard.  GFSI required. 4-hour format. This workshop also offers:

  • One Continuing Education Unit (CEU) is awarded for class attendance and participation. 
  • A total of three CEUs are awarded for post-class work entailing a written project and supervisor evaluation.  The class is ISO 17011 compliant in either form. 
  • A certificate is awarded with transcript with one or three CEUs that may be used to fulfill GFSI scheme requirements.

Workshop Two: Executive Level Food Safety

A fast-paced, riveting course reviewing what is really important for a food safety program, how to manage a lean, mean and effective program, and what critical points to watch as a leader.  Specific discussions on shelf-life quality, what attributes are needed in Quality Assurance personnel, what GFSI food safety schemes are most applicable to your organization, microbiological testing and what is important, how to handle customer food safety questions, and what is your role in food safety.  4-hour format.
