Internal and independent laboratory analysis affirmed a 95% level of confidence with a repeatability of 95%, signifying no more than 1 in 20 measurements may exceed a 5% divergence from stated values. The system is environmental controls agnostic.
In their own words: “This system is not only a faster way to access their nutrient profile but also a form of insurance. It can allow growers to quickly understand if there is a formulation issue or human or system error, allowing them to make the necessary changes to save their crop. Facilities can also start (to) adjust their fertilizer strategies, allowing them to potentially use less fertilizers, increase crop performance and have a form of insurance that may prevent crop loss or performance issues.”

What it does: Created as a replacement for disposable growing media in hydroponic production, silicone substrate is made from durable, food-safe silicone and is designed to last indefinitely without degrading. It is hydrophobic, preventing waterlogging while ensuring optimal oxygenation, and is designed for customization.
