Charlotte Prud’Homme, The Island School
Indoor Ag-Con speaker Charlotte Prud’Homme is Food Security Manager and Permaculture Teacher at The Island School, Cape Eleuthera, Bahamas. A native French speaker from Montreal who grew up in New Jersey, Charlotte Prud’Homme earned her BA and MA from American University in Washington, D.C. where she studied international development, global health, environmental peace building and sustainability agriculture with a focus in regenerative agriculture and food security.
She studied abroad in Croatia and Israel and has worked with NGO’s in Guatemala, Kenya, and Sierra Leone; completed fellowships with the United Nations Association in international diplomacy and the Borlaug Foundation in global food security; has taught on sustainable food systems in 4 countries and earned a certificate in permaculture design from the KulKul Farm at The Green School in Bali, Indonesia.
She is the founder of an agriculture education and community collective, Generation Permaculture Design -IG- @generationpermaculture.
