Claudia Andracki, Desert Bloom Eco Farm
The farm has been providing eggs and produce to the Las Vegas community, including 16 restaurants and multiple families, for the last 10 years.
Claudia is also the winner of the 2017 Southern Nevada Business Plan Competition, with a business plan on one of her business ventures, Aftaz Growing Systems. This company designs and builds aquaponic systems.
Both businesses work together to improve the sustainability of future farming
She also serves on the Executive Board of Directors for the National Aquaponics Association as treasurer.
Born in Mexico and moved to Las Vegas in 1992. Earned her pilots license at 17 years old shortly after graduating high school. Graduated from UNLV in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and in 2015 with a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in New Venture Management.
