Indoor Ag-Con 2021 Speaker Daniel Plant is President at Plant Dynamics, an economic and engineering consultancy specializing in macroeconomic reesearch, investment analysis and controlled environment plant growth systems.
Plant conducts research, advises and manufactures systems to help investors and operators navigate the forces of climate change and technological innovation shaping the global food system. The company has offices in Canada, the United States and Europe to help clients move through the complete process, from market hypothesis to operational execution.
Previously leading commercial for energy industry start-ups in London and Houston, he started his career with Brookfield—a global asset manager—supporting M&A in agriculture, energy and transportation infrastructure.
An economist by training, Daniel has a BAH in Applied Economics from Queen’s University, Canada. He also has a MSc in Economics from Uppsala University, Sweden. After hours activities include tennis, skiing and cooking seafood. From Nova Scotia, Daniel is based in New Haven, Connecticut.
