ABOUT THE NEXTBEAN PROGRAM

Newbean Capital and Kennett Township have partnered to support the Nextbean program, which offers complimentary passes to Indoor Ag-Con events for the next generation of the indoor agriculture industry.

Newbean Capital is the host and owner of Indoor Ag-Con. Kennett Township is a township in Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is an indoor agriculture hub, producing over half of the mushrooms consumed in the United States. The partners jointly support the Nextbean program in recognition of the importance of nurturing the talented indoor agriculture participants that will continue to drive the industry forward.  The program does not benefit from grants or other forms of support.

The program is open to:
-beginning indoor farmers (those with less than 2 years’ farming experience)
-beginning chefs (those with less than 2 years in the kitchen) and
-pre-revenue entrepreneurs (at an incorporated entity, for which you are working full time towards launching an indoor ag-related product).

It offers a limited number of free registrations to our events to these recipients; your application does not automatically entitle you to a pass. Please note that recipients are awarded one regular pass to Indoor Ag-Con, they do not receive travel nor any other expenses.

As we already offer subsidized passes for these groups. the Nextbean program is not open to students, academics, non-profits nor seniors. To ensure that passes are distributed fairly, the program is not open to those who have previously benefited from it.
